Weekly Market Report: Week Ending March 24, 2024

  • Showings are on a rise. The Baltimore Metro service area had 14,653 showings for the week ending March 24th. While this is a slight decrease from this time last year, the amount of showings has increased over 7% compared to a week ago. Buyers are eager to find a home as we come into Spring.

  • New contracts surpass last year. There were 864 new contracts for this past week. The number of contracts is slightly higher from the same week a year ago. The spring market is upon us and contract activity is expected to heat up.

  • List prices remain steady. The median list price was $375,000 last week. This is a slight dip from last week, keeping the price steady. The price is still up over 1% when compared to last year.
